Hosted by Lenzie Community Development Trust, which believes those who wish to remain in the community should be supported by homes appropriate to their stage in life. So far, two attempts at a community asset transfer have not succeeded, but the determination to secure a site has not been dimmed.

Session 1: 3.30pm to 5.30pm (a chance to play the imagine if game and learn about cohousing and local initiatives)

Session 2: 7pm to 8.30pm (a guest panel will lead a discussion about new directions for housing in Lenzie)

This is our fifth and last event in this series supporting Cohousing Scotland, which aims to start conversations about cohousing with as many people living in Scotland as possible.

We will be bringing our Imagine If game to these events which can be played by any age. Our game encourages people to think about shared community resources and what is important to them in their home. You can find out more about our Imagine If game here>

Who are Cohousing Scotland?

Cohousing Scotland are a Charity representing Scottish community-led housing that is run by the residents themselves. Coho Scot act as a support forum for local Cohousing groups, fostering best practice, promoting opportunities and providing guidance to stakeholders. Their ambition is to help create the choice of inclusive, sustainable housing, that responds to the needs of local communities and puts decision making back into their hands.
