Hosted by Hope Cohousing, a community interest company working to establish a small, senior Cohousing project in St Margaret’s Hope, Orkney. Currently in the pre-construction phase, the project will build 6 ‘eco-aware’, affordable, rental homes as a lasting community benefit.
Session 1: 2pm to 5pm (a chance to play the imagine if game and learn about cohousing and local initiatives)
Session 2: 7pm to 9pm (a guest panel will lead a discussion about new directions for housing in Orkney)
This is our first event supporting Cohousing Scotland, which aims to start conversations about cohousing with as many people living in Scotland as possible. Our next events will be in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverkeithing and Lenzie throughout June 2022.
We will be bringing our Imagine If game to these events which can be played by any age. Our game encourages people to think about shared community resources and what is important to them in their home. You can find out more about our Imagine If game here>
