Testimonial
“As Development Officer for Callander Community Development Trust (CCDT), Imagine If.Space CIC have played a crucial role in improving communications between the different community organisation and local and planning authorities. They have facilitated dialogue and discussions between different groups who may not have otherwise communicated as well, allowing their respective plans and projects to complement rather than conflict one another.
They have also done extremely important work in providing scaffolding for Callander community to take forward its Local Place Plan 2022-2032 (LPP). By designing and facilitating workshops, Imagine If were able to gather and guide stakeholders and provide a structure to allow for the collaborative prioritisation of specific parts of the LPP to develop. Once these priorities were identified and agreed by community representatives, Imagine If went about communicating them to the local public through digital communications and visual displays around the town. They are also coordinating subgroups for each priority to ensure they are actively progressing, as well as pursuing funding opportunities for each.
Most notably, they secured grant funding to enable CCDT to open a new community space on Callander’s Main Street. This was launched in January of this year and is now thriving as a multi-use community space and communication hub for the LPP, and collective base for the Community Council and Development Trust.
Additionally, they secured funding for the purchase of 4 e-bikes to launch a community share scheme to give locals an option for getting around town and exploring the surrounding National Park in a more active and environmentally sound manner.
In short, Imagine If’s impact in the relatively short amount of time they have been contracted by CCDT has been significant, and they have done so with invaluable insight, determination and professionalism.”
